Our misting systems produce a 5-micron (one 20th the size of a human hair) water droplet. This droplet instantly evaporates upon contact with hot, dry air, resulting in a cooling of up to 12 degrees C. The flash evaporation achieved with our systems cools without excessive moisture thereby eliminating infections and unsanitary conditions associated with other less effective cooling systems.
 For cattle, ColdMist cooling systems reduce heat stress thereby
providing improved physical metabolism. This equates to enhanced milk
production, increased feed intake, better weight gain and faster
reproduction.
For poultry, our mist systems will compensate for their own lack of a
natural means of heat reduction. This helps eliminate premature aging
and unnecessary losses in stock. It also improves their physical
metabolism leading to increased egg production.
Other viable animal applications include the equestrian and hog
industries. The improved environmental conditions result in improved
quality of life and this can have a noticeable effect – especially
where highly prized Racehorses are concerned.
By reducing temperatures, a typical hog farm will improve feeding
cycles which directly increases the size and value of the animal.
With the addition of Aeronaut odour control
agent, our Cooling Systems can effectively and efficiently remove
odours as well. As the EPA continues to mandate improvements in this
area, quality misting systems have become more of a requirement than a
luxury .
