Choose a Penguin ™ electrically-powered atomizer when some to all of the following design conditions apply to you:
- Fixed installations or portable applications
- size and weight of the atomizer is not critical
- Ambient environment under 100 degrees F (40 degrees C.)
- condensing humidity, dust and dirt are present.
- sprayed fluids are only mildly corrosive.
- electricity or electric fields are OK; explosion-proof rating not required.
- spray rates typically under 4 gallons (16 l ) per minute, with 2 GPM or less as ideal.
- no air assist, air assist under 1500 CFM, or air assist from an external source (such as an HVAC system) are specified.
- electric power is already on-site and available.
If few or none of these conditions apply to you, you may want to consider our Proptec™series hydraulic powered atomizers.
atomizers
give high volume, ultra-fine mists that disperse quickly. Incredible
ease of installation and use, they have a simple single or 3-phase
motor; there are no sophisticated controllers or electronics. Simply
wire in the atomizer, plumb a water line, and they are ready to work.
NEW for Fall 2008: Operates on 110V or 220V single-phase, 50 OR 60 hertz. 3 phase 220/440V also available.
